As a raccoon therian, and one who is very proud of it, you would've thought I would've had a raccoon fursona way earlier than I did. But it took until I'd already come out as an ABDL to create Shadow. The main reason for this was because I felt like picking my theriotype was the 'easy' or 'obvious' choice. But I needed an OC to replace Val, so I finally settled on raccoon. Originally, Shadow was meant to be fluid in his age. He kind of is, still, but at this moment in his development he could physically change his age when nervous or frightened. He had no red hair tuft in the beginning, and when regressed, his eyes would be completely blue. It didn't take long for his eyes to stay consistently half blue-and-yellow no matter how old he was.

Shadow has a job based on the job I had had when he was first created; Shadow works at a Paw-Mart as an overnight stocker. He mostly is stuck in the food section, but he doesn't mind as long as they don't make him stock the fridge sections. He drives a maroon-red, 2006 Spacial Tiger (Spacial is a car brand I made up for his universe; they're similar to Fords). His relationships stay pretty stable as far as my characters with less stable plotlines go: His daddy is my daddy's 'sona, a Husky named Benjamin, and he has a boyfriend-slash-CG in the form of Snowy, the character I made to represent my boyfriend.

I basically throw all of my kinks onto Shadow in one way or another as I see fit, but he's 100% ABDL and I love to publically humiliate him using omorashi and other pee-related scenarios. He blushes super deep because I love when characters blush so hard their faces turn red; I'm not sure if there's a specific kink for that besides just a basic 'blushing kink'. As an ageplayer, his little age is the same as his physically regressed age: 4-9 months, about infant-aged. Sometimes he still occasionally regresses involuntarily, but it's mostly for jokes instead of a canon power he has. When he physically regresses, it always happens behind a cloud of thick baby powder.

I feel a deep connection to Shadow in a way I don't feel towards a lot of my other 'sonas. He is me, and I am him. During a stressful time in our life, his younger self was a drifmate within our system, and he was a source of joy and wonder for us. But eventually, that Shadow fused back into me, and he's back to only being an OC. I hope he comes back someday, but I've accepted that we are each other, heart and soul.
