Despite Shadow being my main 'sona, Rocket was actually my first 'sona after joining the babyfur and ABDL communities. Before I joined the communities, I was nervous around them. I will be honest: I was an anti-ABDL, but I was info "SFW age regression". I was in communities on Tumblr. I spent a lot of time in communities that acted a if ageplay was the same as pedophilia (it's not). But I had always been into babyfur-type art and age regression scenarios without even realizing there was actual communities dedicated to it; ones that wouldn't try to write callouts of you if you even had a passing sexual thought while regressed. At this point in history, I'm not there yet.

I'd been living in Oregon with my boyfriend for a little under a year when we had to leave. We couldn't find jobs and we thought it'd be easier in Missouri, but that's a whole different thing. I'd recently joined FurAffinity, and we were going to be stuck on a train for three days. I can't remember the thought process that lead me to doing what I did, but I abandoned my Tumblr the moment I boarded that train. Then, I spent the entire three-day train ride reading nothing but ABDL, babyfur, and age regression fics, and looking through gallery after gallery of art. It unlocked parts of me that I'd kept hidden for years. While on the train, I took my sketchbook out of my backpack and drew the first reference sheet of Rocket. And when I finally got off the train and bought a new tablet pen (it got lost >_>), I digitized it.

Rocket is a four year-old Boston terrier puppy. He's cared for by Chase. Boston terriers, even aside from being one of my theriotypes, are my favorite breed of dog ever. I love how cute and silly they are, and to me that's perfect for a little toddler OC. He's on his way to being fully potty-trained, but sometimes he still has accidents, so he wears pull-ups. Even with everything that happened to us in our upbringing, we were never a bedwetter and were potty-trained early, but I like giving traits like bedwetter to my 'sonas anyways.

Rocket is just a little boy, so he loves to explore outdoors. While he's never allowed outdoors without supervision, he always manages to discover something new. His favorite things to see are skinks and frogs, and he'll happily sit and watch an ant hill for hours. Most of all, Rocket loves the water! He loves to go swimming, and loves to splash around! His favorite place to swim is the river because sometimes he finds crawfish, and the tiny minnows that gather around his feet tickle his toes, which makes him giggle.
